Stem Cells for Non-healing ulcers

Whenever an ulcer heals it requires recuritment of the local stem cells from the skin, blood and capillaries for healing of the wound. But in some cases like in ischemic limb, Diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, sufficient quantity of the stem cells are not delivered. Or even if they are delivered, they are destroyed by infections. In cases the wound fails to heal and becomes a chronic non-healing ulcer.

Stem Cells for Ischemic limbs

The limbs in the patients with chronic ischemia survive from the flow of the blood from the collateral circulation. The stem cell infiltration into the ischemic limb causes the neo-vascularization of the limb. The neo-vascularization improves the pain score and decreases amputation rate.

Stem Cells for Hair regrowth

Since the stem cells have got the capacity to cause neo-vascularization and to get incorporated into the hair roots have shown promising results in the hair regrowth after miniaturization of the hairs
